What?

Design

We create project specific designs for:

- ceilings

- partitions

- glazing

- suspended features

- service flooring

- soffits and facades

- all related items

Compliance Documents

As part of building code compliance, we provide certification by a registered structural engineer and take on the associated liability.

Regardless of what state/territory in Australia or if in NZ, we can provide certified design and peace of mind to you. That could be any of:

- Form 15 or Form 16 (QLD)

- Compliance to VBA (Vic)

- Section 40 certificate (NT)

- Certificate of Building Design

- PS1 producer statement (NZ)

Site Inspections

Not only do we design, but also inspect when required.

Whether a scoping meeting is required to assess the current situation on site, or post installation engineering approval.

Touch base with us to get an engineer on site.

Why?

Build Code requirements

NCC (Australian National Construction Code), or NZBC (NZ Building Code) both require specific engineering design for architectural elements for the loads they will see over their lifetime.

That's where we come in as specialist structural engineers.

Earthquakes

The building code requires all architectural features to be designed for seismic forces, yes even across Australia.

This is very project specific, but we are experts at seismic design and will make sure it's done right while keeping cost to the project as low as possible.

Wind

We also specialise in wind loading of architectural elements.

Even interiors (ceilings/partitions) must be designed for some wind load, that is where we can assist in the most effective solution from our extensive experience.
