understandably the structural design of pipework, HVAC and electrical is not within the scope of the design consultants, that why as specialist engineers we add extra detail to ensure all services meet structural requirements
this includes bracing design, and restraint of services
we only need the service plans

Lead Consultants

Architects, Mechanical engineers, Electrical designers, PM's

If you need construction compliance documents, 'for construction' designs or preliminary design guidance for tender look no further
we only need the tender services layouts to give you a quote
Need it fast? just ask

are your clients asking how to have a compliant installation?

we can provide product specific designs, incorporating your product and giving your clients the edge with structural sign off

What?

Design

Commonly there is a mechanical design, but no structural review of building services.

We create project specific designs for structural restraint and seismic design in relation to:

- HVAC ducting

- Mechanical pipework

- Electrical cable tray

- Gas pipework

- Tanks, vessels, units

Compliance Documents

As part of building code compliance, we provide certification by a registered structural engineer and take on the associated liability.

Regardless of what state/territory in Australia or NZ, we can provide certified design and peace of mind to you. That could be any of:

- Form 15 or Form 16 (QLD)

- Compliance to VBA (VIC)

- Section 40 certificate (NT)

- Certificate of Building Design

- PS1 producer statement (NZ)

Site Inspections

Not only do we design but also inspect when required.

Whether a scoping meeting is required to assess the current situation on site, or post installation engineering approval.

Touch base with us to get an engineer on site.

Why?

Build Code Requirements

NCC (Australian National Construction Code), or NZBC (NZ Building Code).

Both require specific engineering design all building services for the loads they will see over their lifetime.

That's where we come in as specialist structural engineers.

Earthquakes

The building code requires all building services be designed for seismic forces, yes even across Australia.

This is very project specific, but as experts in seismic design we ensure it's done right while keeping cost to the project as low as possible.
